Kids Weekend Workshops
For all the littles creatives in the Wairarapa!
If your kiddo has an idea they’d like to do in a workshop, send it in and we’ll make it happen!
You can join the kids for some crafty fun- or drop them and run!
Example- 1 Adult + 1 Child = 2 ticket purchases.
Kiddos can attend by themselves. Attending adults must be accompanying a child.

CARTOONS, COMICS & CARICATURES
Price: $45pp
Time: 10:30am-12:30pm then 1:30pm-3:30pm
*Please note the one hour lunch break- kiddos are to be collected at 1230pm and returned at 130pm.

Course Details
The similarity and cross-over between cartoons, comics and caricatures means all three of these ways of creating to be taught together in one course. Whether you want to learn about one or all, then this is the course to advance your passion for drawing and cartooning.
There will be talks and demonstrations, both given as a group and one-on-one, to help support each individual's particular interest and need.
You will learn:
-About traditional media, styles and techniques
- About composition and storytelling
- How to develop your own style, and use of different media
- How to develop and edit your ideas and stories
- How to design and construct characters

Ross grew up with a pencil in his hand, and has since branched out to other mediums, taking him to cartooning, illustration, 2d and Stopmotion animation, caricature and related disciplines for umpteen decades now. He enjoys telling character stories in single images, sequential images or in fully animated forms.
